Manifesto

1. The Wild Classical Music Ensemble affirms that diversity and difference are creative forces for society.

2. The WCME expresses this with energy that is as radical as it is generous: disability does not define a person.

3. The WCME demonstrates on stage that everyone, regardless of their specific characteristics, has a place and a talent that society needs.

4. The WCME challenges the polarisation between ‘able-bodied’ and ‘disabled’ by participating in a more global transformation of society and its normative framework.

5. WCME’s music takes its place on all stages by the sheer force of its quality and intensity.

6. WCME’s artistic expression is authentic, sensitive and spontaneous: a joyful, raw anger, full of love.

7. Beyond the concert, WCME is a collective experience that renews representations of disability and creates other forms of relationships that are free and accessible.
